    in image1:leaving aside the hypersegmented neutorophils, could we classify it as sphearocytosis??

    You’d need to see more of the smear. From this field, yes, it does look like there may be a few spherocytes in the top left corner (the smaller, darker red cells with no central pallor). There are several cells in the rest of the field that also have no central pallor – but they are the same size as normal red cells! So they may be artifacts (real spherocytes should be smaller and darker than normal red cells). You’d want to look at the rest of the slide to get a better idea.

    Also – in megaloblastic anemia, you sometimes see oval macrocytes – and those can occasionally show no central pallor for some reason.
